I added the friction modifier stuff (boy does it stink), and it worked!? I believe the term "Green Oil" is a throwback to the Kendall name which was called Kendall Green as the oil appeared green in color (and long before the current meaning of calling everything "green"). Fits great, just have to move the tie down clamp forward one hole. Be certain to get the vent kit and keep the old vent off the original to get all the way to chassis vent. The price seems to have gone up, I paid ~$110. Peter Fanning '98 M3/4 - Estoril too, must be an easy color on batteries. Everyone I know that races uses this. Well not everybody only the ones that want to win. =8-) I'll probably be buying a Koala Motorsport diff in the not too distant future but for righ now I'll make due with a diff from an automatic running NS mixed with the LS stuff, just like Bob did when he first went to BSP (actually CSP back then). This was the motor that was in Chuck's car before the S54 and it was freshened before going into our car. This a great race motor and the perfect DE motor. You can't buy the parts this cheap. Here are the specs as I know them: 3.2 ltr CM Motor M3 3.2 crank (knife edged and lightened) custom pistons (12.1 compression - I believe) custom ground race cams solid lifters porting and valve work on cylinder head GT/LTW dual pickup oil pan custom dyno tuned chip by Chuck Stickley euro oil cooler just leaked down and no issues noted This is for the complete motor from the LTW/GT oil pan to the intake manifold and wiring harness. Also includes ECIS euro intake with heatshield (3.5" hfm included) Looking to get $9000 obo. I can get pics and other details. I have dyno sheets, but have to find them. And I would think that his application, and racing, would fall under my "specialize(d) application" comment. > from an automatic running NS mixed with the LS stuff, Why? But then, I've loooong since left the "autox scene", so I'm not familiar with all the "secret sauces" that people use. FWIW, my comments were directed toward usage in (primarily) street cars with stock LSDs. Obviously, YMMV. Jim Bassett
