I am sure more driver did similar but what I've seen is reckless driving without TC :) Azar, '97 528iA, '98 M3 3.2 Coupe Euro 321 HP (oOO\(||||)(||||)/OOo) /|OO|(||||)(||||)|OO|\ Celle, Germany ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kent L. Yeah, I can see how that's really holding him back...bwahahaha, NOT! Anyone know what the deal was with Kovalainen checking up on the straight after he passed Alonso, allowing the re-pass? It's not like you can miss-shift with an F1 gearbox. Ron Dennis must have been really pissed about that. I've never seen Ron Dennis get so excited about a pass but then again this was on Alonso. I'm sure Ron is not much of a fan of his. :-) -Carlos. 98 M3

I finally scored a pair through car-parts.com, which hooks you up with salvage yards nationally. Got one really nice wheel for $175 and one bruised but straight wheel for $125, which I think is a pretty decent deal thank you very much. Anyway, give it a try. (No connection to car-parts.com except as a satisfied customer, yadda yadda.) Date: Mon, 17 Mar 2008 10:48:26 -0400 From: <Vikas.Sinha@zf.com> Subject: RE: [E36M3] Re: OT: F1 -- SPOILERS Interestingly, Marc Gene claims that the same issue (accidentally hitting the pit speed limiter while pulling off a tear-off) is what cost Hamilton the championship last year at Brazil: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/17032008/23/gene-pit-lane-speed-limiter-wo e-mclaren-s-fault.html. If that's true that would be a colossal oversight not to have fixed it in the off-season. BMW content #1: frickin' Nakajima screwed up a pretty nice finish in what I think is going to be a very successful season for BMW-Sauber. BMW content #2: anyone else flash back to Joey Hand at Mid-Ohio when Glock went airborne off the access road? Not all that uncommon to get confused with all the buttons on the steering wheel apparently. One of the pit speed violations during the 12 Hours of Sebring was apparently caused by the driver hitting in the drink button rather than the pit lane speed limiter. LOL! Jim Bassett
