One of the local guys has run them with good success. These are fantastic street tires. Rumor is these are being phased out, and a new version is on the way right now. I ran the fastest time of any BMW at the auto-x (LS1 e36 excluded with 315 Hoosiers) There were several race cars as well as cars on R-comps. They are very sticky for a street tire with wide tread blocks. I have also run these in the rain and found them to have very good traction. The next set of street tires I get will be these tires. I can get Goodyear F1's (all season) for $170 mounted and balanced plus a $50 mail in rebate.? They have a 420 treadwear and A temp A tract rating.? Seem to be a fair deal and compromise for wear / performance.? I doubt I'd ever Auto X with these wheels or tires as I have a set of 17" SSR's with stickly tires.? anyone have a position on these tires either way if used for spiritied driving.
